While Google preserves us on our toes with all the algorithm updates they maintain rollin' out, one thing has stayed somewhat consistent for inbound marketers looking to optimize their websites for research: keyword research.
Well, the need to do keyword study has stayed the same. How you actually do it hasn't.
What is keyword research?

( 1) Low COMPETITION . This is my first focus when doing keyword experiment. If a keyword has too much competitor, I don't even to be taken into account. The ground for this is that without being able to grade( and do so efficiently ), I know that I am not going to be going any traffic.
So no standings= No level!
When I look for tournament, I look for a specific metric label QSR( known as Quote Search Results ). There is only one tool that I am aware of that offers this piece of data in an efficient channel, and that is Jaaxy. And yes, that is the tool I use for my keyword research.
QSR allows you to determine the EXACT number of contesting pages in Google….which is your REAL competition. I am for a QSR of under 300( that is, 300 contesting pages in Google ), the a little bit closer to ZERO the better.
First Keyword Rule : Under 300 QSR
( 2) Must get some TRAFFIC. I don't go for ” homerun” keywords, I will settle for bunt singles all day if I can get graded. There is absolutely no gumption in “trying” to get rankings under a high publication, but high competition keyword. I won't get ranked, so who establishes a rats how much traffic it could potentially get.
I go for the sure thing. If a search word goes over 50 investigations per month, I go for it. Yes, 50.
But Kyle, that seems certainly low-grade? Yes, it is quite low but guess what. These low magnitude keywords add up when you start grading them. Get 1st sheet rankings in the search engines under 10, or 20….0 r 100 of these and “youre willing to”.
AND, the lower rivalry, moderate commerce keywords are commonly most relevant and convert better anyways. Another lent bonus.
Second Keyword Rule : Over 50 inquiries per month
( 3) Must utter SENSE . How awkward is it to try to fudge material together when you are using a keyword that doesn't make sense. Make the designation of such articles as two examples. Step 2: Replenish in those topic containers with keywords.
Now that you have a few topic barrels you want to focus on, it's time to identify some keywords that fall into those pails. These are keyword quotations you think are important to grade for in the SERPs( search engine reactions sheets) because your target purchaser is perhaps conducting searches for those specific terms.
For instance, if I took that last topic barrel for the purposes of an inbound selling application business –” sell automation” — I'd brainstorm some keyword words that I belief parties would type in related to that topic. Step 3: Experiment related exploration terms.
