How to Start a Mobile Business

Many small businesses can take advantage of contracting and other opportunities from large companies and federal, state and local agencies. They must qualify for certain categories, such as being at least 51% owned by women, minorities, veterans and LGBT owners and they must be certified by either an organization or the government, depending on the type of certification they're seeking.

Here are some of the ways to be certified:

— Women: The best-known certification for companies owned by women is given by WBENC, the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. Visit www.wbenc.org/certification . It's also possible for owners to certify themselves on the Small Business Administration website, https://certify.sba.gov , if they meet requirements for the certification.

— Minorities: Small businesses owned by U.S. citizens who are considered socially and economically disadvantaged, including minorities, can be eligible for the government contracting program known as the 8(a) Program. Visit https://certify.sba.gov to start the process.

— Veterans: Veterans, including those who have disabilities related to their military service, can be certified by the federal government to be eligible for special contracting programs. For information, visit the Department of Veterans Affairs website, www.va.gov/osdbu/verification .

— LGBT-owned businesses: The National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce is the widely accepted organization to certify LGBT-owned companies. Visit. www.nglcc.org .

— Economically-disadvantaged areas. Companies in these areas, known as HUBZones, can compete for contracts in a special federal program. To be certified, an owner must first determine if the company's principal office is located in a HUBZone. Visit www.sba.gov/federal-contracting/contracting-assistance-programs/hubzone-program to learn more.

— State/local certification: It may be possible for companies in all the above categories to be certified by their states, counties and cities. An online search can help owners find out what they need to obtain certification.

Your video is great and lays out the substantive and procedural aspects of starting a business. so, your title seems to sum it up “Hustle Daily”.World Affiliates is a great name. It gives one a more global perspective in the online business marketing space. I  see that a large part of your efforts involves reviews of websites, services, schools, universities and courses to World Affiliates. From your explanation Wealthy Affiliates University that fantastic program. I like how you described it as fully functional and honest. When I first encountered  WA, online I read a lot about it and researched many others and Started out for free and realized that if my plan was to make money I had to be willing to put money in, so I became a premium member. You explicate WA contents, elements, and training process very seriously and succinctly. This is my first real venture into the online space and after much research, I settled on Wealthy Affiliates. I felt that they could deliver on the promises that most affiliate marketing sites make.

How did you first get involved with WA? You are certainly right.  Wealthy Affiliates doesn’t promise you pie in the sky and a quick turnaround. You won’t make money on the first day, the first week and in fact, it may be months before you make a dime. Your vide makes it easier to understand the nuts and bolts and the effort one has to put in to make any money at at

Thanks for this good information.

God bless you!

What an informative article. I watched the suggested video and it is easy to follow and the information is invaluable. I have always wanted to find a guideline for how to start a mobile business.

You have also listed criteria’s that I was not aware of, in what the state looks at when creating contracts. It is wonderful to see, how women in business and LGBT along with other special focus groups are given priority in the process.

Yoir business market place also has very good tools, that I will bookmark to visit. I am sure I can gain more ideas and helpful information for my business. Thank you.

I was feeling ready for a while and yesterday I decided to start a business. I think this video offers a lot of value for free. I wonder how long does it take for me to realize whether a business succeeds or not. Because I really don’t want to spend time for a business which will not be successful.

It’s a process that you must test and split test and test again. Kinda like an airplane in flight. You have to keep correcting and paying attention to where things are going. “Just Go!” Don’t Stop.

Great advice because mobile phones are everywhere these days. Sometimes I’ll look around just to see how many people are on their phones (other times I’ll look to see how many are texting while driving haha). WBENC sounds like an excellent resource for women and I appreciate you mentioning it because honestly I hadn’t heard of it before now. It’s good to know that there are additional resources for groups such as minorities, LGBT and veterans.  Agora Advantage looks really interesting and I can’t wait to look into it further, thank you!

This is a very amazing video about how to start a business. Truly, before we can think of getting certificate for ba particular usiness, we need to sit down and bring out different business ideas we can do. We need to draft the necessary stuff we need to put into place and go for the one that is more convenient. After that we can now look forward to get certified. I appreciate the opportunity given to women and veteran with this certificate options you’ve mention. And it is funny seeing LGBT as part of your options. Don’t mind me, I’m surprised because of my religious and country mindset. Lols
Nevertheless, this review and video are  very useful and will be of help for many people including me that want to start a mobile business.

Great post. To start a business online is not easy. But with the help of the right mentors who will guide you every step of the way will make the big difference. With so many available resources online, its a rare find we can have free but absolutely making sense online training. At the end of the day, with the right education, persistence and effort, success is not far from reach.

Excellent list of business resources! Thank you. The video was very helpful (and entertaining). I love that you include various resources for women and minorities in pursuit of starting a business. It’s excellent that veterans can get some help too! I’m going to give this some thought as the video made me think. It’s more profitable to sell painkillers than to prevent pain. Thanks for the post!
