Behind the Smiles

Behind the Smiles

(from the Connected Minds Facebook group)

Grand Rising! I want to share a part of my story, that many are not aware of. Most know me as an easy-going guy that can sometimes have a pretty good sense of humor, predominantly quiet in person and possessing a few technical, sales and marketing skills. I smile as much as I can now in hopes to smooth out some of the permanent wrinkles that have developed from frowning so much. What goes on behind the smiles may forever shock some of you. Many of my close friends have approached me after reading the part of my story that talks about me having to live from my car, (http://business.theeveningleader.com/…/getnews-2022-11…/) and they say, “I don’t ever recall you being in that situation.” As if my pride then would have let me reveal that part of my Life. I have learned to only reveal parts of my Life that I want revealed and I desire to be happy regardless of my circumstances.

Here is one reason why I smile…

I smile because I am happy with who I have become through all of life’s lessons – good and bad. It wasn’t always this way and it took hitting what felt like an all-time low before making a decision that would alter the course of my life FOREVER! This current version of myself is not the same person that existed 22 years ago. Life has changed me, turned me upside down and thrown me around quite a bit. For a long time after emerging from what felt like a never-ending bad dream, all I wanted to do was forget certain parts of my life ever happened. However, over time (a lot of time), reflecting on those “dark days” provided incredible clarity and insight on WHY things happened the way they did and better yet – HOW I could ensure it never happens again! That is priceless knowledge that led to personal growth and has allowed me to help others avoid or get out of similar situations. So yes, when people ask why do you smile so much…it’s because life is really good now and every day is another opportunity to make it even better!

Conclusion:
No matter how hard life gets, remember there is always something to smile about. You may not be where you want to be in life but appreciate how far you've come. Be thankful for the lessons life has taught you – good and bad. They have made you into the strong, amazing person you are today! Embrace your journey and keep moving forward one day at a time with a smile on your face .

I have learned to only reveal parts of my Life that I want revealed and my desire to be happy regardless of my situations is the healthiest . My obligation to Just !” Don’t Stop continues to be the driving force keeping me focused and Connected. “Just Go!” Don’t Stop.

Hey there! It was heartwarming seeing those videos and reading your article. Personally too, the rise to where I am today only just started after I got to a situation when I thought I would never succeed in life. It’s a long story. But I think I succeeded because I kept hope alive. And now things are a lot better. Every day, I go out and seek opportunities to laugh and be constantly happy. Smiling they say is good for the body and soul.
